I am proud and grateful to have two books published by ECW Press: Encyclopedia Gothica, a guide to gothdom illustrated by Gary Pullin (2011) and How to Kill a Vampire: Fangs in Folklore, Film and Fiction (2013). Both are widely available from indie booksellers and libraries worldwide, plus Amazon of course.
My essay on Anne Rice appears in Rue Morgue Library's Women with Guts (2017); my essay on King Diamond and the PMRC appears in the anthology Satanic Panic: Pop-Culture Paranoia in the 1980s by Spectacular Optical Press (2016).
My first collection of poetry, On Tenterhooks (2008) was published by Burning Effigy Press, and is now out of print. My second poetry manuscript, Take With You Water, is a travelogue and work-in-progress.

How to Kill a Vampire is a crucial resource for any student of myth and legend, for writers and film-makers, and every fan of the world's favourite undead monster.
